                           Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Palmer Public Library.

                           Experience the one of a kind run! Celebrating Diversity !

Join Filipino-American Community of Matsu -Kabayan Inc. and celebrate our community's diversity at the 1st Annual World Day 5K Fun Run & Kids 1 mile Run.Saturday May 12, 2018 at the Palmer Public Library.

                                              Dress for success!

You can come as you are or wear any traditional costume or color of country your choosing.We encourage participants to show different nationalities, culture, or traditions within Alaska. We want to celebrate our diverse state. A prize for the best traditional costume and awards for each age group after the race.

Post run refreshment available. Kids 1 mile run from age 4 to 17.

                    Bib pick-up - May 11, 2018 at Three Bears, Trunk Rd 5pm-7pm

                    May 12, 2018 Race Day bib pick up (not encouraged) closes @ 10am

                     Meet at 10 am , 11:00 am - kids 1-mile 11:30 am - Adults 5K Walk/Run

FEES:

Adults  -  $30 early bird until 4/15/18 extended till May 6/18, $40 after 

Kid’s   -   $10 early bird until 4/15/18 extended till May 6/18, $15  (ages 4-8) (age 9-13) (age 14-17)  

Family  -  $50 early bird until 4/15/18 extended till May 6/18, $75 after for family of 4 (must sign up at the same time)

**Proceeds benefits MEALS ON WHEELS MATSU  **

  • Meals for Wheels Matsu - deliver meals to seniors (60 years or older) who are homebound, no longer driving, unable to prepare food themselves, and do not have a caregiver that prepares meals. Meals are provided based on need, not on income.
