Sun Run: La Primera 5K/10K Roadrace with FitKidz Mile

Please join us on January 21st 2024 for the first race of the 2024 SAR Mizuno/Running Shop Grand Prix series, the 2024 Sun Run 10k, 5k, and FitKidz Mile.   This is your classic 5k and 10k on a pancake flat and USATF Certified course with great overall and age group prizes provided by help from The Running Shop.  Each participant (up to the first 300) will receive a race t-shirt, running gloves and a shot at earning overall and age group prizes.

We will also provide a FitKidz Mile after most have completed the 5k and 10k.

Pre Race Packet Pick-up:  Saturday, January 20th from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Running Shop, 3055 North Campbell.  If you aren’t able to make it Saturday, no problem! We’ll be set up by 7:00 am to hand out any remaining numbers, shirts and gloves. Remember, first come, first served. But we’ll do the best we can for everyone!

                          8:10 AM - 10k Start

                          9:15 AM - FitKidz Mile Start

                          9:00 AM - Awards Ceremony 5k with the 10k Starting After FitKidz Finishes
