OdySea 'Aquari-RUN' Stride for the Tide 5K!
The OdySea ‘Aquari-RUN’ Stride for the Tide 5k, is an ocean themed 5k and kids race fundraiser to support the OdySea Aquarium Foundation. As the non- profit partner to OdySea Aquarium, the OdySea Aquarium Foundation seeks to educate, engage, enrich and inspire all ages to conserve and protect our planet by supporting local education programs and conservation work!
In 2024 we are ‘shell-e-brating' our friends the sea turtles! Runners are encouraged to wear their best turtle or ocean themed attire for their chance to win a ‘turtley’ awesome prize in the costume contest after the race!

Mail-in and Virtual Run Registration
To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.
Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? This year will feature an OdySea Aquari-Run Virtual. A virtual race is a race that can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race. You can run your race at your pace wherever you like. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event shirt (if selected). Please note that your shirt and medal will be mailed out following the event on April 7, 2024. Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate please contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com

Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups for the 5K only (race day participants only). Our age groups are the following:
- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over
Costume Contest for the best turtle or ocean themed participants.
Show your 2024 finisher's medal at the OdySea Aquarium ticket booth for $5 off admission to OdySea Aquarium on the day of the event.
Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)
Event Managed by StartLine Racing! Club SLR discounts do not apply.
Please note any race related items (shirts, medal, etc.) will NOT be mailed to those that do not attend the event.
Race Day Information
| Race day registration will be available beginning at 7:30am at Arizona Boardwalk. We accept cash, check and credit cards on race day. Race day pricing:
This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather. We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons. No roller blades, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed on the run or walk courses. Leashed pet friendly The 'Bubble Butt' Bounce is an untimed, race for our youngest participants. All participants receive a finisher's medal and a shirt. Parents who only want to accompany their children on the course do not need to register."Bubble Butt" is a common sea turtle injury caused by the creation of air pockets beneath the shell, which results in the turtle being unable to dive because it is too buoyant and permanently floats on the surface. |
