City of Bell Gardens
The City of Bell Gardens was incorporated as a general law city in 1961. It is bordered by the City of Commerce, Downey, South Gate and Bell. The City has a population of approximately 44,000 in an area of 2.5 square miles and is located in the southeastern part of Los Angeles County.
The City boasts of offering beautiful parks, emerald green soccer fields, childcare centers, a sparkling lake stocked with fish and waterfowl, and a community golf course. Also, while the economy is facing many challenges throughout California, the City of Bell Gardens continues to grow and prosper.

Course Description
Bell Gardens 5K course is designed to provide fast times and it’s ideal for spectators. This is a two loop course that covers flat wide public streets of Bell Gardens. Participants will start at Veterans park at then cover of Perry and Suva, then head east towards Scout Street, then back to complete the loop on Florence Place. Making a turn on Perry then onto lap 2. Water station will be available at the start of the second loop. The Kids half mile is out and back on Suva Street. Road will be completely closed for traffic.
Race Day Schedule
Kids Run: 9:30 AM
5K Run: 8:30 AM
Please line up at the starting line no later than 8:15AM

Starting Line Rules
Pets on a leash and must start with their owners on the back of the line with the strollers and parents. Slower runners/joggers start just behind the front group.
Event Day Parking
Free parking around the perimeter of Veterans Park, 6662 Loveland Street,
Free Parking at Suva Intermediate School - next door to Veterans Park.
Runner drop-off at Perry Road and Loveland Street.
