Canceled Sept 10, 2022 Helen Gold 5K-10K Event

We would like to thank you for registering for our 2022 Helen Gold 5K-10K.  As you know the 2020 and 2021 event was canceled due to COVID.  Unfortunately, 2022 will also be canceled due to low participation, which we assume many are still cautious about.  We will try to reschedule for 2023 hoping people will feel comfortable participating.  

If you have donated or are supporting a fundraiser your contributions will continue to be acknowledged by KU Endowment.

Helen Gold 5K - 10K charity event has grown from 200 runner-walkers in 2001 to over 1,000 participants.  As a result, 100% of all contributions and registrations have helped raise almost $930,000 for Parkinson’s Disease Research at the University of Kansas Medical Center. 

Our race event starts and ends at La Paloma Plaza Shopping Center located at 119th on Glenwood, just east of Johnny’s Tavern.  Our race is part of the Race KC Series, supported by the KC Track Club and RaceDay Timing Solutions, and is heralded as one of the best-organized runs in the Metro Area.
