2019 Dalton Troop 922 Holiday Hustle 5k, 2-Mile Walk, & Kid's Fun Run

Registration & bib/shirt pick up will begin at 8:30 am on race day, Sat Dec 7. This will be the only pick-up time. 

The second annual Dalton Scout Troop 922 Holiday Hustle 5K is back during the Dalton Holidays Festival Weekend! This run raises funds for scout camping and high adventure trips. New this year: 2 mile walk and kid’s fun run!

Runners can kick off December and the Holiday season with a trail run complete with cutout cookies, hot chocolate and seasonal music! We are even hoping for a visit from Santa!

All finishers receive the 1st gift of the holiday! Runners may earn awards in the following categories: 1st place male/female ages 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older. 1st place overall male & female will receive a plaque.

Light refreshments after the race. Following the race, the Holiday craft show will be in full swing at the Dalton high school! Stop by and start that Holiday shopping! There is also a holiday parade that begins at 2pm.

Parking will be available a short distance from the race start/finish at Village Green Park 41 S Freet St Dalton, Dalton Historical Society and the Lot across from Horst Manufacturing. Follow the signs.

Race will begin/end near the Dalton recycling center. Prepare for the weather, this race will take place no matter the conditions. There will not be indoor accommodations this year.  If Santa can handle it, so can the Scouts!

Kid's Fun Run: Free for kids 6 and under! Kids run approximately 400 meters with Santa, cross the finish line and receive a special "award". Parents may run with their child in this event if they wish. Pre-order t-shirts are available for $10 each paid on race day.

*All Courses use the Sippo Valley Trail.
