Miles For Mutts 5K & 1-Mile Fun Walk

Warwick Park is the backdrop for To Love a Canine Rescue's third annual race event benefiting the dogs we rescue.

5K Race: Participate as an individual or a team in this 3.2-mile course through the bucolic trails of Warwick County Park. There will be water stations along the way for people and dogs. This timed activity will have a race clock at the finish for instant results. We will have digital photos of finishers connected with results available for posting on social media and purchase, as well as on-site kiosks to look up results. The race begins at 9 am. Results will be posted at milesformutts.itsyourrace.com/results.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 male, top 3 female, and top 3 dog finishers. Top 3 male and female finishers for each age bracket (14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+) will also be presented with awards.

1 Mile Fun Walk: This non competitive activity is designed for those who want a more leisurely stroll in the lovely park. Great for families and lower energy dogs. The Fun Walk will commence slightly after the race has gotten underway.

Mutts For Miles: For $20, one of TLC’s adorable adoptables will accompany you on your 1-mile walk through the course. Please note that an adult (18+ years of age) must be responsible for the dog at all times.

Participation: People of all ages are welcome to participate. It is a best practice to keep yourself hydrated. Some people may need to consult with a healthcare provider before participating. Dogs should be kept hydrated as well. Dogs must be well behaved, vaccinated, and kept on a leash at all times. Please note: use of retractable leashes is not permitted. Please make sure you clean up any waste.

Festivities: Enjoy the festival while you peruse the vendor tables and grab a bite at the food trucks.
